Trello Board

Hi everyone,

I’ve chosen to make the Trello board public, so this will allow you to track progress on a daily basis and see exactly what’s being worked on. Keep in mind that not everything makes it onto the board; a lot of small tweaks, changes, and bug-fixes happen on the fly.

For those unfamiliar with Trello, it’s a fairly simple web app designed for planning and tracking task progress. Each task gets placed on a card which can can be moved into different categories. It’ll make sense when you see the board.

Much of the work done in the last month and a half was a complete rework on the character stat system, as I realized that the original system wasn’t robust and performant enough for the type of combat we're creating. The system will need a lot of expansion, tweaks, and balancing as we move forward, but the foundation is very strong and working properly.

Working Features (stat system):

Timers for health decay/regen
Buffs/debuffs
Attribute scaling
Level-up functions
Stat point distribution
Basic combat calculations (armor value reduces damage taken)

Still Needs Work (stat system):

Equipment Bonuses: Stats on equipped items that affect character power.
Advanced Combat Calculations: Things like crit, resistances, and damage over time.
