A Commission Piece - Initial sketch
Added 2018-07-13 21:06:48 +0000 UTCHad a request come through for a commission. Here is the initial sketch so far. Me and the client are discussing how he wants the image to look.
The pitch was...
"The setting will be in a open grassy field. There will be 7 characters in total and will be human children who are wearing military grade equipment (helmet, bullet proof vest, knee guards) the background will be nothing but distant mountains. With one child back turned against the camera, that kid will be highly detailed, sitting down to watch the remaining 6 explore the jet.
The 2 children will be carrying a dead human pilot off to bury while the rest are on the jet, standing on top of one of the wings, leaning into the cockpit and stuff. What curious kids would do if they see something cool.As for the jets design, i want it to have a forward swept wing concept. It will of course futuristic. However, due to it crashing and all that jazz, you don't have to draw the whole thing since most of it will be in the dirt."
