You may not guess it, but the second image here took me about 4 hours!
I took it upon myself today to finally learn some different liquid engines within DAZ Studio. Several were tested and I ended up using something called "FLUIDOUS" for DAZ Studio. It has incredible results and when it's working it looks just beautiful. It's just very tedious to learn and takes time to get right per shot.
Previously, I was using 3d objects, morph packs, or whatever else I could find to hope that the rigid liquid OBJ file will look natural. Not anymore! Now I'm going to be trying to use FLUIDOUS extensively to get good enough so that it can be part of my everyday workflow. Right now, it is TOUGH to use.
Anyway, HUGE update this Monday. Later in the week you'll get to see some more maple syrup action :)
