Welcome to Designer!

For the last 4 months i've been working on a replacement for LockPlus. Once I realized that LockPlus wouldn't work on the newer firmwares iOS16 and above my heart sank. I began working on a similar way to display what I want on my device. I started from scratch and wrote Designer from the ground up to assure that it would work on newer firmwares and I could continue to display the info I want on the lock screen and home screen.

This was available for $5 and up tiers for almost 3 months. They tested and gave vital information that shaped what it is now. Not its available to all patrons! All the previous posts will be available to all patrons shortly. I would not recommend installing these old versions but you can view the posts to see how it has grown.

I appreciate your support and patience while I work through creating this project. With that said it is not finished, I'm still actively developing this and have a lot more planned. As of now I believe it is at a state where many can use it and get value out of it so here it is! I also want a bigger user base using it to find bugs or request things they would like implemented much like the other tiers have.

Designer supports iOS13 - iOS16 root and rootless jailbreaks (dopamine). Themes are json files which make it much easier to edit or create themes compared to the html, css, js way. I've created a cheatsheet that contains special variables which can be used in themes to get system info. LINK TO CHEATSHEET I will continue to add to this.

Designer comes with some example themes. These lowercase named themes are there for others to examine to see how to make their own themes. User images and fonts can be put in /var/mobile/Library/DesignerAssets/ this makes them available to all themes. custom_image.json gives great examples for images and custom_font.json for the fonts. If you make a theme capitalize the first letter of the name and it will be put above the test themes.

Multiple languages are supported and can be added by any user. /var/mobile/Library/DesignerAssets/languages/ contains a few language files I made. Currently I have de, en, fr, sp, and zh. You can copy the en.json and convert it to your language. I would love if you sent this to me so more people can have their language supported. Languages are chosen from the settings of Designer.

So far it performs better, gives users options they never had, and doesn't require a server compared to LockPlus. One thing it doesn't have is a creator and a few other things. Yes I plan to make a creator, but i'm working on the base tweak to get it as perfect as I can. For now all themes are created manually just like old XenHTML widgets where. Also unlike LockPlus you own the themes you make, they never leave your device unless you want them to. Feel free to distribute themes as you wish for free or to sell.

As of now it will be a manual install. I don't know when exactly I will add it to the repo. I guess if enough patrons request it to be there I will add it. I do have a discord channel specifically for Designer so if you have any questions please join and ask. I would love to help and get your opinion on what exists so far.

The two debs below are for root and rootless. Arm64 is for rootless and Arm is for every other root jailbreak. I've created some LockPlus themes in Designer and you can find a link to them here on patreon or from Designer settings.

1.1 brings multi language support, 24hr switch, and some new weather variables. Also fixed system_info displaying wrong days in forecast.
