Christmas is Coming

It's been a particularly tough year, one in which I've worked incredibly hard but earned less than in previous years. A year in which my partner and I have both suffered from various illnesses, making our lifestyle somewhat precarious. A year in which, although it hasn't been as terrible as it could have been (the Chilean presidential elections are still two weeks away), I feel it hasn't been an improvement compared to last year. Even so, I try to remain optimistic, despite everything. I don't know what next year will bring with everything that's coming (illnesses, lack of time and money, a possible far-right government, the threat of AI in the workplace), but I believe I'll survive. In this month of festivities, I hope everyone, in one way or another, can have a good end to the year, whether they celebrate these holidays or not. The lovely Sapphire has come to give us this beautiful Christmas card, accompanying us with her beauty and joy.
