It's the first month I'm no longer working at the art store, and I honestly haven't been able to make the most of the extra time I have left, as I had to take on the task of teaching extracurricular art classes at a school to partially offset the money I won't be receiving from my old job. It's been hard for me to "get into the flow" lately; I'm not sure why, but it could be because I'm worried about a lot of things. Added to this is the fact that my girlfriend has been sick for the last two weeks. She went to the doctor last Monday, and he recommended a lifestyle change, including rest and nutrition. We're going through this process together because, although I haven't been to the doctor and haven't had any tests, I'm significantly overweight, and now, more than ever, I'm more sedentary, so I'm working on my routine and nutrition. More than anything, to delay the impending heart attack, which I've been told is bad for your health... especially if you die. I ask for a little patience from those I owe commissions to. I'll be working on that tomorrow, alongside my work on the magazine. I'll send out the September 2024 issue this coming week. Also, if people sometimes contact me directly on Discord and I don't answer, it's because I actually log on to Discord to give a heads-up, upload an image, and then I get to work.
