You can’t go to Kyoto without taking time to visit the nearby city of Nara, famous for its deer. After a short train ride we arrived and were surrounded by various parks and shrines. There were so many more deer than we thought there could be! We even bought cookies specially made to feed them! This was also where we met a pair of beautiful Japanese deer girls, with the job of mediating between visitors and the deer in the park. Sakura and Moemi were very nice, giving us the necessary tips so as not to bother the deer or be in danger (after all, they are still wild animals). They told us that they were a couple, and the fact that Sakura showed a small but noticeable bump in her belly and Moemi had antlers (and a certain bulge sometimes visible under her skirt) makes us think that there will soon be another beautiful baby deer in Nara. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credit Card Balance Train Ticket Kyoto to Nara (round trip) = ¥2520 Deer Cookies (4 packages) = ¥2000 Miscellaneous expenses = ¥10000 Total = ¥14,520
