Project Alice - Alpha v0.0.2

Hi everyone! About two months ago I've released the first stable version of my side-project, Project Alice, since then I've made a few additions and I would like to share it with you all again.


First, I've added a new region, an Orc Village, with two new enemies with multiple animations. This new region also has a new trap that Alice can 'accidentally' activate or be carried into.

As a way to encourage exploration, I've added chests scattered throughout the map. Each chest has a chance to spawn at the start of every run, meaning you might see a chest in one place and not find it again on the next run. Chests also have a variable cooldown period, so there is a chance that after X hours/days it will spawn again.


I'm really having a fun time with this project, so I thought it was time to give Alice a voice of her own. She now has her own VA with a vast, consistent library of SFX for multiple situations.

I've been playing around with different ways to progress, so the attribute system was reworked and Alice can now level up.

There were some small changes that... To be honest I didn't remember/bother to write down, like new buffs/traits, an enemy attack preview, better tree shadows, etc.

From the spawn map, head East > South > South or South > East > South. There's a single Orc roaming around the map before the actual Village too

Thanks Roger, it actually gets a lot easier once you get the hang of it and it can be really fun, building a game from scratch and having it to actually work is an awesome, unique feeling. Perhaps you should try again if you have some extra time on your hands, I would love to help you. About HCW, I can see it as an "Arcade Mode" as to be selected in the Main Menu, completely disconnected from the main gameplay. You choose between, idk, maybe three girls, and after defeating the chosen one and receiving her loot you choose between another three, all simple encounters as you've metioned. It could work if I manage to find a way to simplify the encounters automatically, without having to edit/create manually a new battle for every girl already in the game...

After a couple minutes of trying to learn how to make a renpy game, i am blown away by the difficulty to follow all the details that need to be followed. WOW. hats off to you Diogaoo! i tried like hell to follow so i could make something, forget that. anyway on the auto battle discussion, perhaps a mode within HC2 called HCW. instead of messing with the current system in place. every woman has a punch slap shove and kick. they rip your pants off after half health is lost by you, no dialogue, they get 2 or 3 foreplay moves and their big ending move . stat wise, just health and lust. maybe no stamina? just some thoughts. thanks for your time.
