Hero Corruption 2 v1.45b Released !

The new version of HC2 is out !

Changes:

NEW 5★ AREA

• "The Mountains" is the first 5-star difficulty area in HC2.

  • You can purchase the new map in the shop for a whopping 100 gold.

NEW ENEMIES

NANCY

• Nancy is not really feeling it, will you be the one to change her mind?

DESIREE

• On the other hand, Desiree is excited to help you, not everyone can reach the mountains.

NEW MINIGAME/DEBUFF

• Grabbed is a variation of the Overwhelmed debuff/qte

• Just like Overwhelmed, the player must mash a key to escape, a progress bar will slowly fill up and when it is full, the player is released from the grab

  • However, unlike Overwhelmed, pressing the key to escape uses a fixed amount of Stamina.

  • Grab difficulty varies from enemy to enemy.

• While in the Grabbed state, the hero's stamina regenerate in real-time, influenced by the stamina regeneration sub-attribute.

  • A new UI element has been added during the debuff so you can keep track of the escape progress and stamina easily

• Being grabbed does not cause time to stop, the enemy will continue to take turns until the player breaks free.

OTHERS

• Exam Event slightly reworked

  • You can now run away from the event

  • Increases INT attribute by an amount proportional to the rank achieved

  • Receiving the new S rank grants a new good trait + album/new achievement

• Added a White Screen Effect when Hero is approaching climax

  • This effect is only available in specific situations for now

• Replaced all quick-checks multiple dialog with floating texts

• Added 1 New Good Trait: Prodigy

• Added 2 new Bad Endings: Nancy, Desiree

• Added 3 new Achievements

• Added 1 new SFX

• Replaced Massage Room Event input keys from WASD do Arrow Keys

BALANCE STUFF

• Bonus enemies now only need to be defeated once to have their galleries unlocked both in the museum and profile page

• Tower minimum fame increased 800 > 1000

• Decreased Exam Event trigger chance 50% > ~17%

• Decreased Caroline INT check base amount 15 > 5

• Increased Caroline INT check defeated multiplier amount x4 > x7

  • This means that Caroline should be much easier the first few times, but her difficulty will ramp up as she is defeated repeatedly.

BUG FIXES

• Fixed Erica&Margot EXP reward being too low

• Fixed The Exam images switched

• Fixed a bad interaction between Erica&Margot and Serenity's Shawl

• Increased Amy Dodging debuff cooldown 2 > 3 turns

• Fixed a loop with Nancy Grabbed debuff
