I'm making a course!
Added 2022-10-14 09:51:58 +0000 UTCI've been meaning to make an Obsidian for beginners course for a while, but I'm finally at a point where I feel like I've got enough of a handle on doing YouTube part-time to tackle something new!
The course will be for complete beginners to Obsidian and will cover no community plugins. Think of it as an introduction to most of my YouTube videos, which cover community plugins and more advanced workflows all the time.
I'm going to be sharing the progress and contents of the course with you lovely people, but at this stage I'd love to know:
If you're a beginner to Obsidian, what are you struggling with now that I should definitely include in the course?
If you're an intermediate/advanced user in Obsidian, what were some things you wish you'd known when you were starting?

I only recently started working with Obsidian, but have some experience with Evernote and Notion. I have been reorganizing my entire vault these last few days and realized that it's not possible to bulk move notes based on a property other than their location, in my case, tags. So this is one thing I would have loved to know from the beginning as it would have saved me quite some time 😁

By the way, to hide metadata, you can go to Preview mode (CMD/CTRL+E or click on the Preview icon on the upper right).

2022-12-07 19:39:05 +0000 UTCI'm beginner so probably it's a stupid input, but for me it's not clear which are the metadata that are possible to use, and also why when you put it in your notes than desappear and in my notes not. Sorry for stupid input and bad english
