New Patreon-only perk: Private online vault

Hey folks! I'm trying something new and tentatively adding a new vault to the list of perks you get from this Patreon, one that is online and password-protected.

I've been wanting to add written tutorials or "cheat sheets" for different plugins, but that sort of thing is bound to change quite regularly. I could put it in the existing Patreon sample vault, but I didn't want people to have to redownload the entire vault just to see recent changes.

So I created a new vault that I'm calling nvdh-wiki.

nvdh-wiki will be more like an extended documentation or tutorials for Obsidian but also other things in the PKM sphere that I love. It will be online (published via Obsidian Publish, of course) and password-protected.

nvdh-vault will continue to be the same sample vault that I've already made available, which is going to contain plugins and specific setups for workflows that wouldn't really make sense to put online. This is the vault you'll want as a "starter" vault or as a way to copy things into your existing vault.

What's in nvdh-wiki now?

- Dataview examples
- DataviewJS examples
- Readwise Obsidian export settings
- Templater example
- My last video

Everything's in progress and I will be adding more stuff, but I thought I'd tell you all about it sooner rather than later.

How do you access the wiki?

It's available now! To avoid having to update multiple posts when the site or password change, the instructions for how to access nvdh-wiki will always be updated here.

I'm keen to hear what you all think about this, and what else you'd like to see in the wiki!

Comments

How do I access this please? I couldn't see the details on this link. Thanks

Guy

You can go either way, but I prefer to copy and paste whenever I don't immediately know how to do something. :) No need to reinvent the wheel! If I do it enough times, the syntax becomes familiar.

Very interesting and helpful. Though it certainly is not for the faint of heart but as you said, it helps use learn and grow. I find myself wanting to copy and paste but I think for the most part, it is best to create as we build - would you agree?

I find that really useful too! I used to put the agenda items within the meeting note, but I found that I have some of the same people in multiple calls, and I was still wanting to bring up some things in other meetings.

A vault full of goodies. I love the way the way a meeting note can tranclude agenda items from the person note.
