I can finally tell you about Readwise Reader!

I WAS going to post the ExcaliBrain video this week, BUT! Last night I got an email from the Readwise team about their product Reader, which I've been privately beta testing for over a year. The email said that they were ready to bring Reader into public beta, which got me so excited I had to quickly get this video out to tell you about it!

I've been bugging the Readwise team to let me share video footage of Reader, because it's been such an essential part of my workflows in Obsidian.

Hope you enjoy the video!

Hey! I'm not sure, but can you try to email erin@readwise.io and let her know I sent you? Worth a try! :D

Is there a way how to speed up the waiting process, Nicole? Or at least could you tell us the estimated waiting time? I would absolutely love to get access to Readwise reader, but still no luck.. Thanks!

Hey! I think you messaged me about this and have already figured it out, but I'm just putting the answer out here in case someone else has the same question: TLDR is part of the Callouts feature that is now a part of Obsidian core (no plugins required). In this case, I believe Unitec mentioned they'd not placed it in the right spot. Here's a video I made all about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqYQ0kA1yAo

Hi Nicole! Thank you for sharing your demo vault. I am new to Obsidian and not a developer, but I know how to copy code ;-) I like your setup and I am just in the process of modifying it for my own needs. I have one question regarding the Recap function for the individual session notes. How does this meant to work? It is not working presently, as the 'Session Summary' of the previous session is not populated in the 'Recap' of the current session. I can see the Code "> [!tldr] [[001_20220917]]" but that's it. No content, i.e. text, is created. Do I need a special plug-in for the [!tldr] command to work? Is TLDR (Too Long Didn’t Read) in obsidian the same as in Linux? Thanks a Million.
