Video preview: How I study using Obsidian

I am a huge fan of online courses, and this last year is proof of that. I've been wanting to do this video for a while, so I'm happy I got to talk about how I like to learn, some of what I've learned this year, and how I take notes on it all in Obsidian.

You may notice that this video was sponsored by Brilliant. This is my FIRST EVER sponsorship, so I'm nervous about it! I would love some feedback from you lovely Patreons about how you felt about this type of sponsorship. I personally love and use Brilliant (I would never recommend anything where this isn't the case), but it's also pretty scary to accept any money from a company and hope that people take it the way it was intended-- as me talking about a product I love and use every day.

Ugh, that is so embarrassing... I was away on a work event all last week and wish I had seen your comment earlier! Although I'm not sure I would have had time to fix it anyway. Thank you for pointing this out. That's what I get for editing at 2x speed. :D Sorry about that!

Thanks, Mike! Glad to hear it! :)

Also, no problem with you getting sponsored. Brilliant is one of those I am yet to sign up to, but I have LinkedIn Learning (was Lynda.com), Skilllshare, and a few other tech learning subscriptions.

Hi Nicole, thanks for this. I really enjoyed it. Funnily enough I just started using Obsidian to take notes when watching online courses. However, I haven't gotten round to processing those raw notes yet and expressing everything in my own words. That's a habit I am trying to build. I also wanted to mention there is an odd glitch in the video at 24:33. It seems like an unintended jump cut.
