Have you never seen National Treasure or listened to the They Might Be Giants song Istanbul?) It was conquered by the English and later traded officially in a peace treaty for what is now Surinam and the island of Run in Malaku, now part of Indonesia. That's why the name changed, not because "people just liked it better that way".

2024-08-31 03:05:38 +0000 UTCThe thing with peanuts is they're actually lentils, not nuts. I'm fairly sure that that is (partly) why there's many people that are allergic to peanuts and not normal nuts.

Seriously, we eat cactus but not any cactus, the is only one kind that is consumend nationwide, that is Nopales, and then there are some other regional specialities. But you can also make candy out of a Cactus, called "Acitrón" and there is also Peyote, which has psychoactive substances. So yeah, cacti are pretty cool. Also, if Taha is still in NY you should go to "Los tacos No. 1", there you will find some nopales (cactus) tacos. The truth though is that we mexicans dont really eat nopales tacos, so order some asada (steak) tacos, and mix it with the nopales, that is the proper way. Lastly I have a question for all the people are there. In your opinion, are tacos, burritos and wraps sandwiches?
