I know white chocolate isn't "really" chocolate so i'm curious if its affected the same way and to the same extent as the rest of the chocolate talked about in this video?

Katie Woolf

Who would have thought the way plants naturally organise themselves in an ecosystem is really good for keeping them alive and healthy... Do you think we will realistically be able to consume things like cocoa, coffee, sugar etc in the same quantities in the future or do you think the need to have as much as we want will inevitably cause problems?

Sam Parsons

Hey guys, very tasty video as always, Melissa. This video gave me memories of my grandma's farm where she grew cacao, coffee and some fruit trees to give shade to the coffee. My question is, if you had to give one up between coffee and chocolate which one would it be?

Pablo Rodriguez

What is your favorite chocolate?

Judith

1. I asked this in a podcast episode and wanted to ask again here: In a Family Feud style episode of Jet Lag The Game, Sam Denby (Wendover Productions) thought one of the answers of who should appear next was “Answer in Progress”. Alas, it wasn’t one of the answers. But, would you guys consider participating in Jet Lag The Game? 2. Can you share the cookie recipe? 3. Did the butter really burn? I thought that made cookies “fancier”! 4. As a parallel to the price of chocolate, have you looked also at the cost of vanilla? 5. As a consumer of chocolate, I have gained new appreciation to the production of chocolate rather than "just a commodity". Will that change how you consume it? And what is your preferred form and percentage (if dark chocolate)?

Loved the video! Just a few questions. 1) A lot of cooking content creators have shown behind the scenes of their cooking process & a lot of them had to redo scenes. How often do you have to redo any of the cooking scenes? 2) I really liked all the drawing scenes! It gave a really nice vibe that felt really nice. Did any of these drawing have to get redone, or was this on the fly?

Raina Illune

Did you try making your own chocolate?

Simon Law

I always really enjoy your videos! I'm wondering why weren't forest gardens implemented already or from the start? Dr. Carodenuto mentions that it's more expensive, but why is that? Do forest gardens limit the number of cocoa trees you can plant in a given area? Do the additional plants take extra resources/labor? In Dr. Sacco's example, the farmer is able to sell the vanilla they grow next to their coffee, so I'd think that the cost of diverse plants is offset by the additional fruit they're able to sell. Thanks!

Loved the video! 1. Not a question- Melissa, you sound so much more confident in your videos! Your presentation style has improved so much. Is there anything you're doing in the background that has helped you improved? 2. How did you secure Dr. Carodenuto + Dr. Sacco? Did you cold e-mail a bunch of chocolate experts? When it comes to prepping the experts do you send them the questions beforehand/or prep them in other ways? 3. Are you using FX3/FX30? What has been your experience like using that camera? Do shoot in log? 4. I noticed in some of the field shots (at Chocosol) that you're also working as a camera operator. Is it hard having to balance interviewing + operating the camera at the same time?

AJ

I really enjoyed Melissa’s drawing skit as opposed to it being animated. I wanted to ask are there any other products that we take for granted now that you’re concerned about becoming extinct?
