a completely hypothetical poll

okay it might not be completely hypothetical.
we are considering releasing a limited run t-shirt to celebrate hitting a million subscribers and we came up with 3 designs that we love yet also have no idea if they're actually good.
which one do you prefer?

I'm not a big merch guy so I probably wouldn't buy any but the third one looks the best to me

2023-01-10 12:22:42 +0000 UTCAgreeing with other commenters, it feels harsh to put 'none of the above' but I think you should make a generic Answer in Progress shirt- or better yet sticker- first. Maybe branch out to something with a phrase relevant to the channel like 'we live in a society'. [Not that hitting 1 million subscribers isn't relevant to the channel, just that people don't watch your videos for those things and you do tend to say 'we live in a society'.] You could even take some of the graphics you already have- iirc there were some really good ones in the glasses video (but I also just really liked that video)- and make those into stickers.

2023-01-10 12:10:38 +0000 UTCGotta side with the most popular comment here, the options are cute but that's not the kind of merch i would want from you. Having Merch of a creator always is a bit like wearing the brand to the public and i would much rather have something quirky that people ask about and i can nerd out to them rather than a joke one for the specific celebration of 1m subs, sorry guys :(

2023-01-10 01:58:33 +0000 UTCI love the word art one (especially because it's background is a slightly different white to the shirt's white), but I wouldn't really wear it.

2023-01-09 22:41:49 +0000 UTCI love the ridiculous vibe of the designs, but honestly I'd be more interested in just regular Answer In Progress merch than a "one million subscribers" one. They could even still be a limited run. I can tell you I would not buy any of these shirts, even though they made me giggle, but I would probably be interested in something less milestone-specific. +1 to the person above with the brilliant idea of making them stickers though. I would totally tack a couple of these stickers onto my order of a regular AiP shirt.

2023-01-09 21:58:47 +0000 UTCI was leaning towards C but chose non of the above. The phrases on A and C are clever and fun. But, In my opinion, I think the graphic could be laid out better. Maybe larger overall or really big on the back?? I think a shirt is a great idea thought.

2023-01-09 18:58:24 +0000 UTCTruly, as someone whose professional job includes user experience and design work, this amuses me greatly. I think the only thing that would make it better would be alignment or kerning issues with the text.

2023-01-09 18:56:15 +0000 UTCClicking ‘none of the above’ feels harsh 😬; they’re funny, I just wouldn’t wear that kind of merch. Would get a sticker though…
