New Masterclass Schedule + Other Plans!

With the Celeste Soundtrack complete, I am rebooting! Below are some of the things I’ll be working on until the end of the year:
Music Masterclasses
First thing’s first, I’ve set dates for the next music masterclasses. This is an opportunity to get live feedback on YOUR music (Patrons have top priority!). Tutorials and written articles are great, but getting live feedback will be more relevant to you and your practice. If you can’t make any of these masterclasses, but are working on some music, or have any questions, I’m still happy to listen and review on stream. All streams are recorded so I can make a video available for you. Message me!

MilkyTracker Tutorials
If you’re interested in trackers and chiptunes, you’ll be happy to know that I’m resuming the MilkyTracker tutorials. The goal is to produce intermediate level tutorials on all features and effects. Next up are panning & stereo effects. You should start seeing these by the end of the month.
Jazz Piano Articles
If you’re interested in piano, jazz, and improvisation, you’ll know that my previous articles on spatial and directional relationships are very dense and pedagogical. While these provide good frameworks for understanding a pianist’s physical relationship with the piano, they don’t give many practical exercises. I still have articles to write on functional and rhythmic relationships, but have decided to first write about a more practical topic – playing left hand walking bass lines + improvising in the right hand. You’ll hopefully see this article in early November.
Piano Practice
You can often find me streaming my practice sessions on Twitch, usually between 1-4pm EST. I’m also chatting and happy to answer music related questions. People stop by all the time to ask about playing the piano, theory, and improvisation etc. Come say hello!
