This is an introduction to my tutorial series on making music and chiptunes with MilkyTracker.
Questions and feedback are always welcome and appreciated. Need clarification? Did I forget something? How can I make these better? Is there a topic you’d like to see covered?
If you’re BRAND NEW to MilkyTracker, I’d recommend first checking out my tutorial series for beginners. Here’s the playlist
In these tutorials, I’ll be covering more intermediate topics, like all the volume controls, panning controls, all the effects, and most of the buttons in the UI. Learning these things on your own can be overwhelming. I know, because that’s what I did. The manual is great, but I’ll be showing how to use these controls/effects creatively, and writing music along the way.
MilkyTracker is TONS of fun. To reach that point though, you need to have good workflow and use hotkeys so that you’re moving through the program as quickly and efficiently as possible. So, throughout the series, I’ll be dropping bits of information to encourage that you’re always learning and practicing new hotkeys and incorporating them into your workflow.
Most importantly, I always try to write, edit, and produce these tutorials to make them as concise and relevant as possible. I’ll also be including detailed descriptions and timestamps. The last thing I want to do is waste your time!
The first couple videos will be available for everyone. After that, I’ll be releasing short previews. The FULL videos will be available for only for $5+ Patrons.
