2024-04-20 04:19:23 +0000 UTCIs it possible your brother has aphantasia like I do? I can't conjure mental imagery, it's just black when I close my eyes. Descriptive words are acknowledged but my computer (π§ ) is essentially working with the monitor turned off. Descriptors can feel like "in one ear out the other" because it's not shaping/informing visuals for me. Graphic novels and movies and shows and video games hold my attention so much more. I only found out 3 years ago that when people say "picture yourself on a beach" that most of y'all actually see the beach. When it comes to escalators, it's usually loose clothing/shoelaces or improper use that cause accidents. That said I would gladly carry/piggyback you down stairs or escalators and along travelators. Or at least hold your hand.
