It's good to see Barrett finally have a place with the very person who welcomed him with both open arms. Reese and Alan deserve each other, and I hope you'd sneak some short stories of moments of their lives in the future.

2024-03-02 08:32:45 +0000 UTCThey FINALLY get the happy ending they deserve, so fucking fitting. Also I couldn't help but keep laughing to myself about Barrett being a fuckin service dog for Reese. Once I put it together and realized that's exactly what he is I was endlessly amused. That being said, it's nice to see the characters confronting and admitting their flaws, but also recognizing that Reese isn't a broken monster unable to be a part of society, he just needs help. That's been a huge theme throughout but it really came together here. I can't wait for the Logan epilogue, and depending on that outcome I really hope that's the end to this trilogy(technically saga but Togo's story is more like a spinoff, anyway). I really like this series, and I think this really wraps up everyone's arcs. Spinoffs focusing on some of the dogs, Salt and Pepper, Ralph, or whoever would be good of course. But I hope this is the last story with Alan and Reese as main characters. They deserve their rest, so to speak.

I'm happy that they're finally getting their happy ending but also really sad knowing that we may never see these characters again. I would love to see them again in a more relaxed setting in part because I never want their story to end.

That was one of the hottest 3 ways I have read in a while, and a perfect ending for Reese, Alan, and Barrett. Nice future for the pack :) I guess next chapter is for Logan, Sloan, and Dom.
