There are a lot of reasons I am doing this but essentially this site will verify that you are a Patreon before allow access to the download link. You may have to hit refresh or log into your Patreon to gain access.
I am doing this specifically to stop a certain type of piracy that I do not want to go more in depth about.

I dont know if you sorted it out, i had the same problem and here the fix: as patreon logs you in automatically you 1st have to unlog then to login to be able to change your email.

If you would like to know the issues I had for your records I had issues with Tor browser, it got stuck in a loop where I would hit "Refresh", it would tell me you wanted to know my profile and e-mail, and then it would send me back to the refresh page. When I switched over to Firefox it worked fine. Then after logging in with Firefox I went back to try Tor again and it worked.
