I come bearing a new cover and new news! I've been talking about it for the better part of a year now--but we're finally doing another online concert and I am so excited!! In other other news, I broke ground on my new album last weekend!! I tend to have so many walls around starting big important things like this, so Jesse--hero that he is--took it upon himself to basically force me into a room to do it. He booked a studio, put me in front of a mic, and hit record. We got the bones for 14 of my new songs. WHAT!?! It feels amazing to have gotten started and I can't wait to dive in a bit deeper and add in some production :) Thank you all for making this possible <3

I joined for the concert, and I am unsure as to how long I will be able to stay (college is expensive!), but I hope to be a patron in the future:) While I'm here though Kina, just wanted to say that since your songs first popped up in my Pandora radio, I've listened to them on repeat and watched your awesome music videos and also just learned a lot about being a better human, so thank you!! (p.s. Your music has also directed me to so many other amazing musicians/people including Imaginary Future, Mree, Kate McGill, Marie Digby, and Billie Marten, so thanks for that as well!)

I wasn't intending to compare it to other versions when I listened, but it struck me that this is the best version I've ever heard, including the great original by Ms. Armstrong. It just hit me that this version is so smooth and (bitter?)sweet… Very, very nicely done!
