I've been testing it out with a little beta group and so far I am already melting with love and amazement for what happens when this community gets together.
If you're confused as to what any of this is in the first place--let me shine some light on it for you! Discord is basically a chatroom/forum for communities. In ours, we have a general chat room, a KG Records directory where you can introduce yourself and read about others, a mental health channel, a health and fitness channel, a channel to share random things, and some other channels as well! I will also be using our Discord as a place to post announcements and little updates.
If you are ever in need of a kind soul to chat with, or laugh with, or kill time with, this is the place to go! KG Records is full of some of the kindest, smartest, silliest, most open-minded, amazing humans I've ever met. I will also be popping in from time to time to join the conversation :)
To join, first click on our discord invite link here and create an account if you don't already have one. Then, head to your Patreon settings page and connect Discord in your App Integrations. It's super easy, I promise!
Be sure to check out the #getting-started tab once you're in, and head to the #introduce-yourself tab to let us know who you are!
I am so looking forward to chatting with you all over there and seeing what amazing things will come from creating a home like this for our community to live and grow (and be silly) in.
