Regarding the statue with the bee hive. It’s the figure of the philosopher Thomas Aquinas , and I think the bees refer to a passage from his essay on Kingship where he writes that societies are best ruled by one just as the hive is ruled by one queen. It was a very popular passage with monarchs, and I think the iconography is meant to flatter the Habsburgs.
