New Video: Fields Of Gold

I'm here for the weekend with my sisters and dad for a first-ever (since early childhood) father daughter trip. We're well-prepared, with lots banana bread (courtesy of Mama G) and tea and a guitar and Settler's of Catan--it's gonna be a great time :) Last night when we got in we stood outside and stared up at the milky way galaxy and reflected on how insane and beautiful life is.
In any case, I'm so happy to share this cover with you. I was inspired by Eva Cassidy's cover, which a friend introduced me to after college when I was pursuing music in Austin, TX. I highly recommend if if you haven't heard it.
Hope you are all well. Thank you so so so much for your support, for being part of the KG Records Fam, for allowing me to give my all to my music. It's such an incredible thing and I still can't believe it.

And to be honest I feel I liked her covers so much because she reminded me of the way you also take a song and cover it and make it your own. You have always been so good at that. Also show September 3rd...yay. Kelly, Nikki and I have been were just talking about missing your shows! Hopefully we can make it. I hope you are having a lovely summer! I just had to trip with my dad and sisters to the redwoods too (first time!). Great families think alike!
