ONE THOUSAND STRONG.

We are 13 days into the launch of our record label and we are already ONE THOUSAND STRONG!!! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine we would hit this milestone so quickly.

I can't really explain to you what it feels like to know that 1,000 individual people out in the world have stepped forward and declared their belief in me. Have essentially said "What you're doing is important and I want to be a part of it." [Insert cry face emoji here] Our team is now 1,000 people strong. 1,000 minds, 1,000 hearts, 1,000 different lives and dreams and stories, all joined together in one little corner of the internet because you believe in the value of art. It is such an incredibly beautiful and powerful thing and I'm not even quite sure yet how to hold this gift inside of me and properly incorporate it into my reality. 

To give you all a little glimpse into what has been accomplished in the last 13 days, fueled by your love and support...

- I finished recording the first song off the album

- I am nearly finished mixing the first song

- I shot a music video for the first song

I can't wait to get into more detail about all of these things with you, but for now I just wanted you all to know that they are happening. I have felt more motivated than ever before, and that's because of you. I want to do my very best for you and I don't want to let you down. 

As you may or may not have noticed from the "Goals" section of my page, we are now due for a little celebration of sorts! (We're also due for me sharing the first song I ever wrote with you, but I'm gonna need a second to mentally prepare for that one. HA.) We'll be having a 1.5 hour-long label-only livestream party during which I will be answering questions, playing songs, and calling some of you on the phone. We'll get into the details of how you can submit yourself to be called later, but first and foremost, we need to lock down a date.

OK WAIT THERE'S ONE MORE THING!

Since we hit the 1,000 patron milestone much faster than anticipated, I wasn't prepared with a follow up milestone. I put a lot of thought into this yesterday, and I decided on something that feels very big and exciting and important to me, and I wanted you all to be the first to know.

When we hit 2,000 patrons, I start planning a world tour :)

It's been a while since I've properly toured. I needed a good long while at home to heal and rebuild myself after Jakarta, and then I found myself waist deep in writing and creating for a time. I've been starting to feel the pull again, but, as planning a tour can be a daunting and expensive task, I haven't been able to muster up the courage to pull the trigger. I think this is what I needed. I can think of no better way to celebrate the next milestone than to hit the road again and get to celebrate and connect with you all in the flesh. 

Thank you all for the incredible support, for reaching out, for sharing your stories, for giving everything I do so much more meaning. So grateful to have each and every one of you on my team.
