Kurt always likes to make it a challenge, and the cups certainly get that job done. Took a LOT of takes for us to all get it right. We had a ton of fun, but I won't lie, it does get a little tense as the takes go on... haha. Love these folks so much though!
I'll be posting another video at the end of next week and I think I'm going to make it a Throwback Session! I always enjoy getting nostalgic and revisiting my oldies :)
Wow, I am noticing my overuse of "!" and ":)" and I'm really sorry about it. I hope it's not too obnoxious. I'm just happy and excited about things and want to convey that! (There I go again.)

Sadly, I'm moving out of state from FL... so I wish I could go to Safety Harbor. That place is a hidden gem of a singer/songwriter music fest. It's super chill.

2017-03-23 22:03:50 +0000 UTCThe only way I can keep rhythm is with others. Alone, I wander all over the beat (which I choose to call "expressiveness"). When I play a percussion instrument, such as a cup, shows that not even being with others can keep me precisely on the beat. So, yeah, nice song, excellent vocal arrangement, amazing voices. But it's the percussion that had me mesmerized all the way through, especially when it went away for that one interval - felt like I was hanging in mid-air.
