Yeah I felt really bad for him. It was very nice of Bang Chan to comfort him though.

Oh this episode emotional rollercoaster ...... every time i watch innie cry and being insecure my heart breaks he is in fact very talented I wish he could see himself as we see him. when his voice cracked during the live I didn't even noticed it at first, however I could understand what he felt. also when chan went to comfort him that was a breaking point for me. I wish they could see how much of talent they have and that we will always support them🥲 And of course the judge vote in this episode was shiit like a total shhit seriously 'I will be your man' is my favourite performance they did in kingdom, rating them in 6th place was unfair not because im biased no because I watched different reactions from non stays and locals everyone is always surprised with this performance. some says they had this voting due to the fact of the concept because it is a sensitive topic "demon-child-exchange ect.." and since stray kids are unique they are never afraid to talk about such topics in their MVs or lyrics.

I tried to wrap my mind around it, but I missed the mark a bit. Thank you so much for the info!

So in other content, it's explained what the I'll Be Your Man stage was all about. A little boy was turned into a statue. When Changbin is running up the stairs (right before he falls backwards off it), he was going towards something on the screen (the stage didn't show it to us very well) and it was an illusion of the boy. Then when Changbin comes again and it's black and white and the boy is there, he was pulled into an illusion - so it's not the past or anything, it's an illusion where he sees the boy. They made a deal with the devil to bring the boy back from being a statue and sacrificed themselves for it - at the end they all died for the boy. It was kind of hard to get while watching it - I had thought the statue was like a memorial for the boy who had died, not that it actually was the boy who was turned into a statue (maybe they should have showed Medusa or something lol).
My favorite part of their performance was at the end with Han and Seungmin belting, I.N coming in and Changbin rapping through it all. Changbin's rap really impressed me. I wasn't familiar with the song before I watched this so I had paused it, went to youtube and watched the I'll Be Your Man MV by BTOB first. The rap that Changbin does solo at the end is actually done by two different rappers in BTOB. So impressive!
I.N really beat himself up over the voice break. I also thought it was on purpose to show desperation - which he had said in the beginning that he really wanted to show. I thought it fit very well, but I can understand how he feels too. He wanted to do it a certain way and it didn't happen. Just wanna give him a hug!
The voting at the end - I'm very glad I wasn't aware of kpop at the time this was out lol. I would have had such a hard time picking because I loved all the performances. Stray Kids did shock me, but I can also kinda see it. It was a performance that had a story, but hard to figure out what the story was exactly. I can only think that counted against them or something. I think they only released the judge's comments that one time throughout the show. It would have been informative to know what the judges thought of this round. Being biased to SKZ myself, I know I would have voted for them. I definitely would want to vote for Ateez, BTOB, IKON, and SF9 though too. The Boyz' was very good and I did enjoy it, but for me personally, I just enjoyed the other performances more.
