For the choruses i use a neck pickup position, this way i get a different tone. Playing style is very important, it looks like it's played softly but you need to put some strength in your fingers and use mostly the tips to get a punchier sound For left hand is very important to get relaxed and to not raise your fingers too much off the fret board, specially for the fast parts - Gear Sound: Good amount of mid in the amp and compression if you have. Most of the sound is in the playing style, believe it or not - About The Song: For the gallops in the verse i recommend using the index finger two times and then middle finger, that way nothing gets crossed and it feels better Practice a lot and very slow, it really took me some time to get a good cover of this song.
