More motion capture and Unreal 5
Added 2021-06-01 03:10:26 +0000 UTCMy motion capture is working fine now, handling the mocap data in Blender has proven difficult though (Blender really struggles with animation data consisting of thousands of frames). But I'm resolving these issues.
The other thing is that an early version of Unreal Engine 5 has been released and I plan to switch to the new version as soon as possible. It has many improvements which will help me realize my vision I have for this game. From better tools helping with my animations, to huge improvements when it comes to building my game world.
Over this week I'll be making daily posts explaining where I want to go, what tools I have, what problems I'm facing, how I plan to resolve them, and what is on the horizon.
