Island elves

Introducing one of the races which will be part of the next race poll by mid of march, the description is intentionally light and will be further refined if they are chosen in the poll.

Description:
A caramel-skinned sub race of elves living mostly on islands and coastal areas, like other elves they belong to the eternal races, who don’t know death due to age or illness. They live in peaceful small communities in harmony with nature.

Average height: 4’7”- 6’0” (140cm-183cm)

Body type: Thin to slightly chubby with small to medium sized breasts.

Hair: Dark hair is the most common, copper, gold and silver tones are much rarer. They like to decorate their hair with flowers, feathers or pretty much anything with nice color and shape they can get a hold of.

Clothing: In public they cover their breasts with flowers and wear light flowing skirts around their hips. Though the most important “clothing” is their body paint, at home they will usually only have simple symbols painted on, while during important events like a wedding the bride will be painted from head to toes with beautiful ornaments.

Food: Favorite foods are bananas and fish.

Magic: All island elves are able to use some magic, but very few are truly powerful. Though their magic shouldn’t be underestimated since they are able to weave mighty magic together as a group.

Technology: Due to their rare contact with other races and their common ability to use magic they aren’t used to complex machinery, many of them haven’t even seen something like a steam engine.

Intimacy: They are quite playful and well known for their erotic dances, but they are very reluctant to start intercourse with strangers.
They belong to the few races who can control at will whether they will be able to conceive in the near future, due to that and their eternal lifespan it happens very rarely that they decide for a male to be good enough to start a new generation with him.
