I NEED MONEY FOR ELECTRICITY, AND ELECTRICITY FOR MONEY!!!

Kifflom, brothers and sisters! It's ValeGor! So, let me tell you latest news about my "Shreked" game. Recently, I haven't made much progress, but I still have something to share with you. Let's get started!

I'll begin with the bad news. As you may know, Ukraine is currently experiencing significant electricity issues. Most of the power-generating facilities have been destroyed by missiles over the past few months. When I wrote my last post a few weeks ago, the power outages in my house lasted only 4-6 hours, so I wasn't too affected by it. However, the situation has worsened, and now I'm without electricity for about 8-12 hours a day. Honestly, this greatly complicates the development process. Imagine coming home from your main job, planning to spend a few hours working on the game, but there's no electricity. All I can do is write dialogues for quests on an app on my phone. And the scariest part is that according to pessimistic forecasts, the situation will be even worse in winter, with electricity available only 2-4 hours a day to keep pipes and sewage systems operational. I hope this scenario remains just a nightmare. In short, as I mentioned earlier, the lack of electricity will definitely prolong the game's development. But I'm still hopeful to release the first version by this summer.

FYI, the electricity problems can be solved, but it will cost me money. For residents of more wealthy countries, a few thousand dollars might not be much, but I don't have such resources. Nevertheless, I have some ideas and hope to come up with something. And you... You can support me on Patreon. Now, onto the good news! Earlier, I mentioned that I didn't plan to include 18+ content in the first version of the game. I intended to make it a simple demo without a lot of content. But as I'm working on the quests, I realize that all storylines eventually lead to... boobs! So yes, there will be 18+ content in the first version. It won't be much, but it will be there. I think the first version will have several dozen quests, and within those, you will interact with characters "in an adult way." Now you just have to guess who it will be - Princess Fiona or maybe Lord Farquaad? Hehe...

Oh, and one more thing. Recently, I was thinking about how to create some promo materials for my game. Then I remembered Akabur. His loyal fans helped him create something like character profiles from the game. So, I decided to do something similar. It took some effort, but I hope it was worth it. Below (or above), you can see one of these profiles. I've never really understood how to promote myself on social media and such, so I hope my efforts won't be in vain.
