Added 2023-01-07 20:23:06 +0000 UTCKifflom, everyone! It's me, ValeGor with first post in 2023! That only sounds important but actually nothing changed. Same problems, same life, only different numbers. But I managed to continue working on my VN even during "holiday season". Honestly, I felt kinda distracted because of those meetings where I just needed to play nice, smile to everyone and do stuff like that. Apparently, I'm not party person at all. But you know what? I'm totally okay with it.
As I said before, I never stopped the development of the game. And I feel like I can be sure about releasing next version of the game next month. Again, I need to make things clear. This isn't gonna be a huge update. I worked around 4-5 months on very first version, so I can't just release something big in 2 months. I want to make updates with new content every 2-3 months so u will not forget about my existance. Maybe that's not right, but I don't think that people want wait half of a year for one big update. I'm moving slowly, but constantly.
About public release of current version. I decided to move this event closer to next update. Why? Because I'm still not sure about where I will spread my content. I mean, there's not so many places where I can share this kind of content, especially if we talking about parody games. My first idea was to send links in my Discord, but then Elon Musk decided to ruin my plans. I mean, most of my followers found me on Twitter and migrated here or to my Discord channel through it. But now I can't just share my Discord so you can find links. Because Twitter don't want me to do it. Yeah, they tried to cancel their own announcements later but internet remember everything and now many adult creators, including myself, are not sure about how new rules gonna work. They can just ban me on Twitter some day because... Why not? Adult creators need to be very careful 24/7. For now the solution looks like that : Twitter to Patreon to Discord. Yeah, that looks so lame, I know. But I don't have any simple alternative. On the one hand, I want more people to discover my VN, but on the other - for NSFW content I need slightly different marketing strategy. So I thinking about spreading my work on various forums like Spicy Gaming, F95 and other. What do you think about that? I want to know your opinion about everything!

Steam does allow parody games. I have seen many and played few but i think the legal trouble is the problem. What i mean is I don't know if the creators of the show said that the product can be used by anybody or if it's allowed to make games about it. There once was already an adult fan game about the show. It no longer exists but not because of the creators of the show. It was a flash-game and when flash died, the games did as well. I don't know if the creators knew about that game or not. My point is that on Steam the game can become very big which is definitely good but it's up to the creators of the show to either not care about it or to make legal actions against it. I may be wrong and i don't want to discourage you from doing anything but I think going on adult platforms is smarter for now. I hope you can understand my viewpoint and I look forward from seeing more from you.

2023-01-07 21:17:59 +0000 UTCActually, what you said is very similar to my thoughts. I'm not sure because I talk with many people. And some of them don't like this idea. They prefer go big - Steam and etc. But from the other hand, other developers said that spreading content on Reddit and forums is great and I need to post my VN literally everywhere where it's legal. Anyway, I don't think that Steam or any other big store allow parody games so I'm probably gonna choose option 2.

2023-01-07 20:56:22 +0000 UTCI think spreading your VN on any forum will help you in the long run. The more people know what you are doing the more they'll come and support. So it is a smart idea to go to these forums. But those are just my thoughts.
