Hello patrons! Here is the newest release of Take Over! And first, we want to thank you all for your support!

This month we advance the story a little bit and add content to Hana, one of the assistants working at the TV station, but on top of this, we have been working and planning how to expand and rework the management part of the game, which is long overdue.

First, let's talk about "freedom" in the game, which functions as the "corruption" attribute for the city. It changes many scenes in the game, making them more thrilling/debauched.

Right now, it grows infinitely depending on your policies, which means we had to put a hard limit because we didn't want you to get to 100 so early in the game. In the future, instead of that, your policies will just give you a flat bonus while they are active; we want to have more tiers of corruption, so the city transforms itself at a slower pace.

We have also been adding facilities and reworking them, both how they produce and consume resources and how you develop them, making it more personal and exciting than just clicking a checkbox.

As for main characters, Sarah might be one of the last ones to be added (there is a handful that has been shown, but you have not got to them) since the story shouldn't overextend too much. Nonetheless, this is why right now, the focus is related to the gameplay, since we want to have a fun game to play before we finish the story. Also, even when it's over, we think it'd be fun to be able to walk around your city and see how things ultimately changed thanks to you.

• We also wrote a few scenes for the cafeteria, which will be the first facility to be reworked but not implemented yet.

We hope you people look forward to this rework of this really outdated system; we will also change the main story a little so it feels more like a sandbox than a linear story.
