Hello, patrons! First, we want to thank you all for your support, which allows us to keep working on our project! With that said, this update of DiCK will be content-based as these previous ones because we are getting ready for our next big release!
We've talked vaguely about it for months, not to spoil much about it, but we can say that it involves a new city named Ludwick and that it's a horror adventure, with two different endings (corrupt and pure). The story itself is over 50k words in length, but with additional texts (like events in the city, lore scenes, stores, etc.), it'll be above 80k words, which would make this the largest update we had done.
Also, we'll be introducing and developing nine new characters, with two transformations. Although right now, their content is mainly story-focused, we'll be expanding them once we release the adventure.
Once we are done with this adventure, though, we'll be focusing on polishing the game again: We want to enrich the simulation part of DiCK, which includes improving the city and castle management modules, new ways to interact with the city and make your decisions more impactful too.
Also, we know some things have been somewhat ignored, like your attributes or stats (right now, they are only available in a few scenes). You'll be to train them and use them more often, but we'll leave that to another post where we can go in length!
