I just finish binging your reaction (also my first time watch ing Begin Youth. I enjoyed your reaction and comments. Half way through the show, I came to the conclusion that I probably wouldn't have last long watching it on my own. It was very heavy, and I felt like I would have a lot to express with no outlet, but most of the time, you guys took the words out of my mouth so it helped. Thank you I read another comment, saying this is his first time loop. Is it though? Didn't Joann mention that he gets a lot of "Nightmares" And in the B.U series, his nightmares are the loops that has been happening while Hwan is forgetting his loop journeys? And the notebook had a lot of entries. Time themes are so confusing to me. If there is a season 2, I hope it's not too difficult to follow. And even if there wasn't a season 2, the ending I think was left to our own interpretation. Wasn't that the beach trip that had the dead body? Didn't it go down hill from that point on? Maybe this loop, they communicate better, and keep up with the buddy system. I can only dream. -sigh- I'm ready but also not ready for season 2.

We made it through 🫂 watching this drama together made all the difference 💜 it would have been way harder alone. And Blaze you were right! We should have just skipped all of the suffering of the remaining episodes straight until the ending 🤣 What a ride this has been, but surely worth watching. Like you Nico, I’ll let this season marinate for a good while before even considering watching it again 😅 but fingers crossed for a second season, although with the time loops in full effect everything will get even crazier, but at least it means we can hope for a different ending for us and a new beginning for the boys. Once again, a big round of applause for the incredible acting and production of this drama 👏🏼 Hats off!!!! 🎩 On another note, a future interaction between the Bangtan members and the Begins≠Youth cast would be awesome, like someone being a guest on a Run episode or being interviewed in Suchwita! (If Yoongi continues it after being discharged.) I would absolutely love seeing that, especially since next year marks the 10th anniversary of HYYH and we know they’re planning to do something to celebrate so it would be the perfect opportunity. An ARMY can dream! 🤣 Anyways, it was a pleasure watching this with all of you 😍 now we shall wait and see what the future holds! L💜

2024-10-10 21:57:45 +0000 UTCThis is how it ends?! No way! I hope that there will be a season two because everything is still so messed up. Haru is still at the hospital. Hosu left the orphanage to live where? Cein is back, but he is still being tormented by that principal, which will lead him to commit suicide again. Dojeon dropping out of school and working jobs to survive. I really dislike his woman child mother. Jeha still living a robotic family life, and Hwan has yet to fix anything. That principal and Hwan's father can't get away with what they did. Haru's parents need to pay for their horrible ways. Hosu needs a stable home. Cein and Hwan need to work together and put this whole ugly situation to light and those jerks behind bars. Dojeon needs to graduate, attend college and get away from that woman he calls mother. I'm so frustrated right now and crying a few times doesn't help my anguish. AND, don't get me started on Jooan! Sheesh, did I cry when he was on the phone in shock that he stabbed his father. When he wanted his family together, I was like, no Jooan. That's not a good idea. His mother and sister are terrified of the father, and for good reasons. I found that selfish of him pushing the father into their calm and stable lives when he knew damn well that his father is violent when he drinks. That scene right there had my leg shaking.

It has been a wild and emotional ride for sure. And I completely understand not watching to watch it again very soon if at all. It is certainly. heavy. Second: I am not sure if you guys saw the scene after the credits on this ep, but there is a scene with Hwan showing him restarting the loop that definitely sets it up for a season 2. Hopefully you were able to catch it later! *EDIT* Ok so I definitely was more tired than I thought and fell asleep while watching the reaction so I completely missed that y'all DID see it all the things. 🤣 Ignore me. This episode really showcases the little changes that the writers made to the story. Like with Jooan stabbing his father. In the BU, Tae does k*ll his dad, but it's done out of anger. Tae really has no love for his father in the BU and continually st*bs him. He's perturbed by his own behavior, but not necessarily that his father is d*ad. In this show, Jooan loves his father. Almost to a fault. Up until the very last moment, he was still holding out hope that his dad would change and that they could be a family again. Jooan st*bs his dad just the once and is overwhelmed by it all. I think having Jooan demonstrate such loyalty to his dad throughout the show makes that ending scene with him hurt so much more. It's gut-wrenching cause you know this ISN'T what Jooan wanted. Ever. Also, Woojin acted the shit outta that scene. 😮💨 Next up is Cein. I could wax poetic forever about Cein. Watching him finally lose his cool with the principal was so satisfying. It would have been more satisfying if he could have molly whopped him to the curb, but I digress. That scene outside of the police station with Cein and his dad breaks my heart. And I honestly think having his dad ask him "was it REALLY not you who started the fire that k*lled your mom?" was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back. The one person (outside of his friends) who he believed never had any doubt in his innocence is now questioning it. But even so, I still don't think it was ever his intention to d*e. His intent was simply to light up the photo and throw it in the garbage can where it would burn up and then go out. But he missed the garbage can and the curtain caught fire. I think it was THAT moment that he decided to say "f*ck it. I'm too tired. Too spent. Just let it burn." But up until that very moment, he had every intention of living. He said so himself in ep 11. This was another difference from the BU where Yoongi khs on purpose. Not that that is any less tragic and heartbreaking. Also, having Jeha be the last thing Cein really "sees" that allows him to smile tore my heart right out. 😭 And Jeha's call to him outside of the motel? I /sobbed/. 😭😭 Also, I can't even imagine Cein's father learning about what happened. I am kinda glad the story is focused on the boys so we didn't have to see that. The thing with Haru is so interesting. Cause in the BU, Jimin is hospitalized, but it wasn't quite as fleshed out as it was in the show. They didn't really give the whole hide-and-seek element to it. But I think adding that element really made Haru's situation so much more sinister. I do somewhat agree with Blaze on the fact that he didn't necessarily need to keep himself in the hospital like that, but I also think it was the smartest decision. Haru's parents have proven that they can not be trusted. They've lied and lied and lied to uphold their image. Who is to say that if Haru did go home they wouldn't do something to make him stay locked up for good in a hospital of their own choosing? Have him deemed unfit to make his own mental health choices. Take away his power. At least in this setting, Haru has a semblance of control and once he's of the age where he can legally make his own decisions, he is outta there man. The story I am most curious to see what happens in the next loop is Haru's honestly. This is getting long winded, but I'll close with a little tidbit of knowledge that I've been wanting to point out, but didn't want to spoil anything.....well......hm....maybe I won't cause Idk if they'll address it in season 2. If we end up never getting a season 2 (I WILL RIOT), I will bring it up then. 😅 *EDIT 2* Ok so having gone back and rewatching the part I fell asleep on last night, I think it's safe to bring it up. So the memory loss thing. I am not sure if you clocked the moments where Hwan was just like straight up forgetting things like what his end goal was; saving the guys or remembering the loops. And also just like forgetting memories in general; forgetting people. Much like his dad does. Remember how is dad didn't remember his friends? How he said "I feel like I've forgotten something."? Things to think about. Things to think about. 🧐🤔 I feel like the scene at the end on the beach was Hwan having a moment of remembering the loops and remembering his purpose and goal. And Nico is right. Is it is such a huge and heavy responsibility. Anyways. That's it. I really enjoyed re-watching this with y'all. Sorry if my comments turn into novels sometimes lol. I look forward to the day when k-dramas start up again, mostly because that means things have settled down in your lives and y'all have found some more peace; mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally. I definitely have suggestions for shows I think you'll like when it comes time! Borahae!!🫂💜

Of course, watching the videos I noticed the through-lines, but never put it together as an actual story. (and yes, I watched it on Dailymotion, I couldn't figure out where to watch it just using google) That first time, with no expectations, it felt like a complete story. It came full circle. It got positively Shakespearean at the end there, but they had all talked about a fresh start/start over from the beginning, and there we were ... back at the beginning. It's a common mythological theme, and shows up a lot in fantasy and science fiction. But those books sometimes do go on with further stories. However, can my heart take a season two? Doesn't matter, if it happens, I'm watching, lol.

It said, "Hidden Contractor"! My theory: He was 1st before Hwan and gave up and then Hwan took over! Also because of the last entry we got in the "Notes" book in the actual BU!

2024-10-10 04:26:16 +0000 UTCI feel like it was definitely written/planned as at least 2 seasons. If they didn't intend to do another season, they would have paced this differently. BUT I am beginning to wonder if season 2 will actually happen. I think the cost to watch this may have kept people from actually getting it on the paid platform. I'm afraid they priced themselves out of success and may decide not to do another season. The thing is, if they had put it on streaming platforms or even on Weverse with an affordable price, ARMYs would have come through and made it a success. Instead, half their probable audience ended up watching it on Dailymotion. Unfortunately, HYBE has shown a tendency to be too greedy. It's like they assume ARMY will pay any amount for everything BTS related so they just keep upping the price tag on everything. BIGHIT needs to separate themselves from HYBE altogether, IMO.

We know how Hybe likes to experiment with things and to be on the cutting edge. SO.......... this was done this way so that the fans actually OWN their virtual copies of the episodes... just like you own some other collectible. Each episode is a limited edition. There are only so many copies. The idea is that once all the copies are sold on the platform. IF/WHEN all the copies are sold out........ then the only way for a person to see them will be to rent/buy them from the people that own them. That will also be done through the platform. This benefits the fan that bought the episode but also protects the rights of the artists who will get their fair share when they are resold or rented. There are plans for a season 2. BTW... the episodes are cheaper if you bought them in pre-sale and in packages. I own them all but didn't pay $30+ for them.

The members created the characters and they are supposed to be similar to them. In the original story they even have the same names... but changed it for the series. They actually had to refilm some parts to change the first names. That was only because they didn't want people to confuse their families with the families of the characters...... for example...... of course Hobi's mom didn't leave him at the amusement park. But there are bits and pieces of their real selves in the characters (Yoongi's napping habits; the motorbike accident; RM's burdens of responsibilities; Jimin's lying to put on a happy face despite suffering; Jin being the Hyung and from a wealthier family than the rest but wanting to be a part of what they have together... but also feeling responsible for them too; JK still finding what kind of person he is; Tae being more emotional and impulsive as his younger self) and I think the actors did a great job portraying that.

The only reason I haven't been following it again with you YET is because I'm still in recovery mode. I tried when you watched the first episode and it was just too soon for me. BUT the beauty of this is I can watch with you as soon as I am.... and as you are near the end I wanted to check in and make sure you are OK! I love this series so MUCH.
