I’m J-Hope biased, but then again Dark & Wild is so close to being my favorite BTS album of all time and I feel like it doesn’t get talked about enough. I’d love to hear your take on Rain, it’s such a unique BTS song. It has this vibe, that I can’t quite put my finger on. But I also really like what other commenters have suggested about reacting to the BTS albums in order!

2020-09-17 07:13:32 +0000 UTCSkool Luv Affair was my first physical copy of a BTS album so it will always be special to me, but Dark & Wild is an absolute masterpiece that was way before it's time, in my humble opinion. On a side note though, if you do happen to listen to Dark & Wild, check out the Mo' Blue Remix of Danger, it's amazing how different yet the same it sounds. Cypher Pt 3: Killer live performance at Summer Sonic 2015 was as epic and as raw as you get, if you wanted a bonus video. 😉

You can definitely feel their experiences in LA come through in the album (and also “Let Me Know”😭 The song that still makes everyone wonder who broke Yoongi’s heart). But of course you can’t really lose with this poll.

Plus, twice in the last two days I've seen hit tweets going around that used Base Line and then Blue Side and there were so many ARMYs in the comments like "WHAT SONG IS THIS??" Like come one guys. haha. This would be a good chance to give some ARMYs the culture, the vibe, the ICON that is Hope World. Plus, you should listen to the albums in order. So do Hope World bc you've done the other rappers and it's only fair, and then start from the beginning. That's my opinion.

Also, please be sure to watch the MVs for Daydream and Airplane, WITH SUBTITLES ON, so you really see what he's saying. Hobi's music and expressions in MVs always seem so bright and upbeat but when you look closely at the lyrics you can see him expressing his angst and sadness at not being able to have a more normal life. He wants to find love and be able to party when he wants to. I get the feeling he doesn't want to deliberately upset any one or invite them to worry about him so his smile and upbeat attitude tend to hide what's goin on underneath. RM has said that Hobi is a bit of an enigma. The boy is deep and sensitive. They all are. It's a big part of why I love them so much! Also, reacting to Hope World first will underscore your appreciation for how far they've all come from the beginning when you go back and review the albums all in order. Looking forward to this journey of yours! Love it so much already!

This because Hope World is J-Hope's mixtape and every song is just amazing. Also because the other albums are BTS so they should be listened one after the other while Hope World is just J-Hope's mixtape. React to his mixtape first to see his own music and then lead with the other BTS albums to see how each member expands their music all together.

Seeing as you have done Suga and Namjoons mixed tapes, I think doing Hope World next then run though the albums in order could be a good choice...but the Watcher fam speaks as a collective, and it looks like D&W and albums in order is the way its leaning.

Plus they were so low on funds they recorded it in a tiny garage which gave it a unique sound. So in tribute Dark and Wild for sure.

I love Dark and Wild more than a normal person should and HYYH PT2 is a GIFT to this world but you're really cheating yourselves out of a great experience to not go in release date order
