His growth as a musician and as a person is so beautiful to watch. In my opinion, he's truly an old soul. He has a way of writing lyrics that just go straight to my soul and moves me.

You literally have to ask "What on earth am I listening to???" I've basically learned that I can't be doing anything else when a song from any of the guys comes out. I have to just absorb what has been given to us and then usually need a moment to collect myself. I also second that you'd really like Winter Bear. I was walking back to work after lunch when it came out and I almost stopped in the middle of the street... haha. That was prior to my realizing I needed to be home and by myself whenever I heard a song for the first time.

I waited up for it to come out (3 am my time) and ended up listening to it over and over again. I love it so much! His voice is so beautiful. It's soulful and smooth and it just makes you feel so warm! Like being wrapped in a cozy blanket. Love it!

I appreciate the more technical response you all had including giving props to the vocal matching and lyrics. So while this isn't my fave song, I can now appreciate it much better. π
