❤️ 🍵 Tea’s Recommendations 🍵 ❤️ [April 2023] [Things I Like That You Might Like Too]
Added 2023-04-06 11:00:03 +0000 UTCYo, Teacups!
If you haven’t seen one of these posts before, this is just what it says on the tin - a recommendations post. Sometimes I get caught in a cycle of the same movies, books, activities, and whatever else. If you also suffer from this, I hope this small collection of recommendations can be of some help.
P.S. These are obviously just things I like and if you don’t like them too, then that’s absolutely a-okay ❤️

ZZAVID:
He’s a homosexual in need and he has my support. Hilarious, relatable and just a great thing to eat your dinner to. Highly recommend. When I say he reacts - HE REACTS. Please enjoy :)
The People Profiles:
It’s 3AM and you need something to enjoy with your shredded cheese. Look no further. Learn all about nazi commanders, nazi prison guards, nazi wives - there’s a lot of nazi stuff. But there’s lots of other historical figures too, and you can sit back and listen to lots of cool facts about the weird, the awful and sometimes wonderful people of history.
Glidus:
I love people talking about Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, and this guy is really great at it. The passion, the observations, the random shouting, it’s beautiful. Not only is he really good at dissecting the material, he also just makes it really fun. Give him a good old watchie :)
Cecilia Blomdahl:
This lady fuels my love of cold, isolated and majestic places. Her name is Cecilia and she lives on Svalbard, an island close to the North Pole. She has so much charming and uplifting content. Check her out if you love seeing the different ways people live and how they go about their day-to-day.

Live More Authentically:
If you’re a people pleaser, and let’s face it, a lot of us are, life be can exhausting. You can feel like you’re constantly performing, concealing your emotions, forcing yourself to smile and nod and just accept whatever people dish out to you. Well, maybe we don’t have to do that. At least, not always.
Someone was being weird with me over emails a few days ago. I did the normal thing, I was polite, I just kind of ignored the inappropriateness because I hoped they would stop. They didn’t. So, I just very politely said ‘that’s not appropriate and I do not wish to continue this conversation.’ It felt good. You don’t have to go around calling everyone cunts to feel liberated. You just have to decide what you’re gonna tolerate in the moment. Try it out. I’m gonna be doing so a lot more from now on.
Buy a Bubble Wand:
They’re cheap, they help you get off the internet, and they’re just fecking magical. Spin around and watch the little suckers burst into life. Extra fun if your doggo bites them.

2023-04-06 12:23:30 +0000 UTCCan vouch for living authentically. I went through most of my 26 years feeling embarrassed for myself, which led to social anxiety. This caused me to not be myself in order to fit in or accommodate others (strangers). I had an epiphany where I was like "You know what? I'm cringe AF and I LOVE it ." Life changed from that point on. Started living for myself and my friends and family rather than people who I'd never see again. My friends and family noticed how much happier I was. Best decision. Maybe it comes with getting older? I dont know. All I do know is that I'm happy now! :D
