I really feel for Sooch. Like you said, it has to be really overwhelming for him. He’s exploring this new relationship, and side of his sexuality, without anyone who he can talk to besides Howie. He doesn’t really have anyone who can remind him how important it is to reassure Howie since he probably still has a lot of lingering insecurities from the previous kiss. Plus, besides the week Howie was visiting his parents, Sooch doesn’t get a lot of alone time to even process things on his own. All of this on top of working on resolving the academic probation.
