I think I lost some time in the past few days. Its Monday already, but I have been reliving the same 3 and a half days over and over again ;)
First, Things are good code wise, saves are working, I've just been going through this over, and over, an over again to make sure I haven't missed anything due to the story divergence.
Also, for the story divergence, stats stayed the same, so you won't have to start over unless you want to see what's changed, and you may occasionally get a reference to something said in later days that didn't exist before, but it won't be anything majorly story breaking.
Day 4 content in the 3.5 update
So as I have gone through each day over and over again, I have noticed something about where I am at in day 4 in terms of content.
So day 4 is shaping up to be the longest, most content filled day so far, over 1300 renders by noon :)
New Features :)

So their is a lot more settings in the phone then there used to be. And I wanted to discuss them. (they are explained when you hover over them though)
Emotional Settings - 2 Settings here.
Emotional Stability - short explanation: Say you sleep with one of the Main characters, then blow her off and ignore her. She wont be okay with that and she will make sure you are aware. (Side characters won't have this feature.)
Darker Emotions - I was trying to find a way to talk about this without spoilers, but I don't think I can, and everyone kind of needs to be aware of what this setting is.
Ava's story is different from Kayla and Alex, should be pretty obvious from the ending of day 3. Not in day 4, but very soon somethings happens, and it involves conversations about suicide. Nothing overly visual, just some conversations, and her kind of sitting their in a very vulnerable state. We know this can be a trigger, So disabling this, just back's off her story enough to where that doesn't come up.
NPC Interactions
Low Resource Mode It has been brought up a few times, particularly on older phones, That a few scenes crash can crash the game, and its to do moving between images really fast, I've seen my GPU spike pretty good during these as well. So this feature limits these scenes. Take the banana scene for example, with this enabled, Their will be less images, and the time between each image is more spread out.
Guided Mode/Tutorial has probably been one of the most requested features. Which I always found funny, because this game is very fluid, their is no right or wrong way to play this. So I had to think a lot about how to implement it. and since I was already rewriting everything for the diverged script it made sense to do it now.
Again their is no right or wrong way to play this, their is no one path, even on an individual LI bases, their is still not just one path. You can start entirely on a corruption path with Alex, and still correct that into a romance path, or vice versa. and even when you get to the point where you are involved with one of the girls, monogamously, you can still push her into a more open relationship to allow for the harem.
But, if you do decide to play with this on, Here is what it gives you.

It just kind of lets you know what path it leans towards, but again, its not final and it is totally possible to end up on a corrupted romance path.
Casual just means it doesn't lean in either direction, more of a middle ground.

And in other cases it just kind of marks the best option.
And that's pretty much it, It just lets you know what the choices do, or what the best choice is, if you play with this on, and choices pop up without any guide, it means it doesn't really mater.
And one last thing for tonight.
Re Rendering.
I am honestly to tired to remember if I have mentioned this or not.
We have slowly started re rendering older content. When day one was put together it was mostly for fun, and curiosity, and people liked it, and half way through working on day 2 we started to realize how much people liked it.
So things started to evolve as we started to take this a bit more seriously. Quality of textures and lighting was first. In day one I used whats called ghost lights, They are really kind of crappy lights but they render really fast, its part of the reason day 1 was done in less then a month, but those lights were one of the first things I changed and stopped using them for more realistic lighting, Then their was the new skins for all the characters.
And then comes day 4. and I'm sitting there working on the male interactions with Nicole, and I go look at day 0 with Nicole, then day 1 with Alex, day 2 with Alex, then a deleted scene from day 3 with Mei..That thing is HUGE, But also wasn't consistent. What Nicole got was much larger then what Alex played with.
So I measured the damn thing. 14 inches and cant remember the girth but. yeah...What Nicole got was nearly the size of Alex's forearm.
So we thought about this. What the story is. Who the male MC's are, You can choice, but neither one of those choices was prn str. (Funny I can't spell that out on Patreon without being flagged).
So come day 4 you will notice male anatomy is much more realistic now in terms of sizing, So part of re rendering will involve that change as well. We honestly thought about giving a size choice, and right now that wouldn't be to difficult, but their is already so much dynamic content planned, by the end of the story that would just double the already insanely high amount of work that needs to be done.
While I've been working on all the coding the past few days I have also been working on the repeatable content that can become available at the end of day 4, and I am already doing each on of those 5 different times, and that would make it 10.
So unless I was able to get a hold of like 8 RTX 4090's and a mini nuclear power plant to run them, That won't be an option.
So that's my update for tonight.
