Bonus info: Filming this was a challenge. The light from plasma balls is weak. Most of the output is invisible as I will reveal in the video.
So filming the filaments inside the plasma ball and a visible magnet at the same time took some trial and error - and a whole lot of post-production.
For example, the attached thumbnail is five-layered based on three separate recordings to make all parts somewhat visible. 4-5 hours of work for the thumbnail alone...
200x50 mm magnet donated earlier by magnetportal.de. I will actually use the 150x100 mm in the video in stead, because it has better reach. And yes, the plasma ball does react to a strong enough magnet ;)
