I did not give you much info so it was mostly a blind guess for you. I do like how it ended up being almost a tie between two opposing answers. Shows it isn't easy to guess :)

Hehe ;) There's more to it, but since I only upload once a month and has taken a 20% payment/time cut at my day job to find time for monthly uploads, I would prefer to avoid half ad revenue on my videos when possible... But the bonus clip also show an non time-edited side-by-side shot of the two scenarios, making it more tangible that they are exactly the same time. In case people should complain about the time-edited shots. I also think the end is an elegant way of giving people a 'behind-the-scenes' look at what it takes to make such a video. I did watch and record the hour glass run through 25 times and gave up on recording 5 more runs in the slower test... People might complain about the missing last 5 runs, but now I can point to the end of the video and tell them why I gave up on it ;) Thanks for watching all the way to the end, Sarge :D

But the induced magnetism in the sand from the farther extending magnetic field from a larger magnet has an impact. Now I need to experiment with how slow I can make it go without stopping it...
