Added 2019-02-17 21:14:58 +0000 UTCJust a little taste of what I'm involved in behind the scenes. I was contacted by a member of the Brazilian National Research Council. He is working on a pilot project to dub English videos into Portuguese for use in physics classes. The project even included an article in the Brazilian Journal of Physics Teaching (Revista Brasileira de Ensino de Física).
Since I'm all for spreading the knowledge and interest in science, I of course gave them permission to translate one of my videos. The linked video is the Portuguese version of my video 'Monster magnet meets blood...' https://youtu.be/IVsWTkD2M6Q
They even translated a lot of the text in the video, so they've been serious about it. Their credits are at the end of the video.
I don't speak Portuguese, but hope they got the translation right ;)
