Development Update #4 - September 3rd, 2018

In this post we’re going to share some important details as we begin to reach release time. We’re of course going to start with the most important news: release date!
Episode 1 will be released in approximately two weeks!
This is just an approximation for now, as we’re having to factor 5 days into that time where Rob, who does the rendering, will be A.F.K (away from keyboard) for his birthday holiday from next Monday. That will mean we have no choice but to lose five days of render time. It’ll be a much-needed break, though - the first 5 days in 4 months that he hasn’t spent on High Life! (4 months and 4 days, to be exact.)
In that time, the rest of the team will still be working on finalising the script, the website, that week's development update and will begin work on the storyboard and script for Episode 2. And of course, you will continue to receive bonus content and sexy previews, so look out for those!
Ultimately, the aim is for the disruption to be minimal and not impact too heavily on our release window. If you don’t notice we’re a man down, then we’re doing alright. We’re working flat out to get as much done as we can before rendering is paused, but that 2 weeks could become 3 if anything unforeseen occurs.
Long-term release plan
Right now we're creating the game with a maximum of two months between releases. Once we gain more support and are able to render faster, we aim to cut that time down, so that we release new Episodes every month.
Fetishes
Finally, a few people have come to us with questions about the specific fetishes we have planned. Short of providing a long list, we think it’s easier to just imagine the kinds of scenarios that an 18-year-old girl about to be independent for the first time is likely to encounter. So think experimenting with girls, threesomes at parties, pushy boys wanting to try anal, learning to squirt, creampies and the risk of pregancy, and so on. If Eleanor gets accustomed to any of these fetishes, she may explore them further.
For instance, if anal becomes something she enjoys, she might like gaping or letting a girlfriend lick her ass.
There will of course be events that don't normally occur in a girl's life, like Anne/Eleanor domination (both will have the opportunity to dominate), but these will be incorporated into the structure of the story. In terms of broader themes, Eleanor can also engage in interracial and of course lesbian relationships.
Some other fetishes that we have planned are public sex, lactation, BDSM and bondage, and voyeurism, to name a few that at this stage we can see ourselves incorporating further down the line. We’re considering watersports as an optional fetish, but we don’t know if you guys would be into that. So let us know, and we will release a poll when it comes time to including it!
As we get closer to release day, we'll continue to share more info about the game and the story.

I would echo Bluntobjects sentiments. I think the best way to see if a fetish - or any kind of sexual scene for that matter - works is to stay true to the characters you've created. Can you get Eleanor into such a naughty situation in a believable and compelling way? As you’ve said before, the immersive story is the focus, and that’s what will set this game apart. But if Eleanor were to engage in some of the above fetishes too quickly, or in a way that feels forced, then that feeling of being immersed in the story and the great character you’ve created could be lost. Taking the “pushy boys wanting to try anal” as an example, if it’s early in the story and she just lets him do it, then it would come across as cheesy and implausible. But if she’s having sex, and the boy slips a finger in her ass as she’s riding him and she enjoys the sensation then that could set her on the path of curiosity, then maybe after hearing Aggie or one of her friends share their experience of anal sex, Eleanor could then be more receptive to the idea. Whenever you get her there, if the buildup is good, then the scene when she finally lets that pushy boy push his stiff cock up her ass will be so much hotter! Hope Rob is enjoying his break. I would more or less suggest you just test what ever you feel inclined to try and see if you can make it work and stick with it, since inconsistency about it would annoy me more than its actual presence or lack thereof. But I must admit that your small list did put a smile on my face, so from my point of view you are already headed in the right direction.
