✨ NEWS ~ Spotify synching and Patreon tier prices on the iOs app
Added 2024-08-20 13:29:35 +0000 UTCHello my loves, as you may have heard, from November 2024 the tier prices will differ depending on which platform you pledge from. If pledging from the iOs app, the price will be higher to cover Apple's processing fees (creators have the option to leave the price as it was and pay for the fees themselves or raise it on the app to cover Apple's fees - I chose the latter). This is why, if you are a free member considering pledging, I recommend pledging from a desktop or browser in order to pay the regular, normal price ✅
Regarding Spotify: since I create 🌶️ spicy content, I may have to disable the Spotify synching option. This is because ~ technically ~ Spotify does not allow explicit content on their platform (even though my content is paywalled and can only be accessed by patrons... and I've seen plenty of adult content on there without any paywall to protect innocent ears, cough, cough). IDEALLY I would love to choose which audios can be accessed on Spotify and which cannot, but currently, they don't offer that option and if you allow synching, all your stuff is automatically visible on Spotify 😔
Let me know how you feel about this or how important Spotify integration is to you: would you rather have access to uncensored spicy content without the Spotify option, or would you rather not have ANY explicit spicy content but be able to listen to all my stuff on Spotify?

Even my bank activity lists the paid price as only 10 dollars. Thanks for the quick response, Storm!

2024-08-31 17:33:32 +0000 UTCThe normal prices should be 3, 5 and 10. There is a small VAT fee (that no one can escape), which should be 1 or 2 dollars more. But if paying from the iOs app, you would see 14.50 for Thunderbolts

I had just joined the Thunderbolt tier when I saw this post, so I cancelled and switched over to my chromebook, where I am now. And I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the non-apple tax prices are? As the ones listed here in my laptop browser are no different than the ones on the iOS app, whether I'm signed in or not

I feel like your content being restricted would be a much greater loss though. Yes spicy is fun and sexy but the more important issue would you having to moderate your content to fit what is (usually) very vague guidelines that could result in frustrating situations. Did that sound convincing and sophisticated enough? Did you make it this far down? WE <3 SPICE. Kidding...I'm totally kidding...

2024-08-21 10:30:24 +0000 UTCNo platform is ever perfect I suppose... explicit content is allowed but there are rules to follow (nothing explicit on the public page, no non-consensual acts, etc) so maybe the creators who got banned crossed one of these lines... or at least I hope there was a good reason.

As for the Spotify side of things I listen to your ASMR over there when I get home from work so I can relax and have a blush and smile on my face. I think it's best to have the spicy audios over here so we don't break any T&C with them and not get in trouble.

As for Spotify, I'm personally not one who uses Spotify to listen to asmr audios. I use Spotify for my music in my car so it would be difficult to explain to my passengers if I start the car and my previously playing asmr audio resumes. 😂

However, many Patreon users have reported similar problems with some explicit content being banned and others being ignored. I can see why some on this platform are switching to Fourth Wall. Thanks for keeping us in the loop, especially with the loophole 😉

More seriously, I couldn't care less about Spotify... in fact, the platform in general is of little interest to me. I've got it all here. I mean all what really matters: YOUR CONTENT (what else ?) - I have sometimes strange ways to show my appreciation, so for once I say it out loud without beating around a bunch of bushes, woods, forests, or canopies as I usually do. Hope nobody will witness this... P.S.: Besides, I realize that what I intended as a gentle innocent compliment -I swear I was candid- might make me sound like a creepy spicy content junkie... oh my, I doubly hope nobody will witness this...

I'd better listen to your content here without restrictions and enjoy the whole experience. Man, life as a creator is very complicated.
