The Curse of the Frenzy Fidget

Asaifghjdrffghdfjkghjdfh damn this Frenzy Fidget item! OH, uh I didn't see you there, hooowdy, welcome to another Dave.EXE progress update post. As you can see, I am currently losing my mind programming one of the last couple items that will be featured in this brand new update. Say hello to the Frenzy Fidget!

This will be the first offence item to be added to the game. Toss this bad boy at any enemy to eliminate them from the timeline for 60 seconds (may change during development) but they'll respawn as their edgy variant. Edgy enemies, Edgy Dave, random event enemies like The Taker, etc will get stunned for three seconds instead. This item will prove useful in getting out of sticky situations, but costs the most compared to other items. How much? I can't say for sure just yet, we'll have to wait and see. Obviously good ol' smithy Berry won't scalp you for it, but I want to make sure other items like the Microthruster are still appealing to use.

Other than the Frenzy Fidget, we're adding in two other items into the game, The Terrible Teleporter and The Wench Wrench. The teleporter will allow you to teleport to a random vending machine on the map (emptied or not), useful for getting out of a chase and finding your objectives quicker, though of course you may end up teleporting to an empty vending machine or right next to the killer, so be careful how and when you use it.

The wench wrench on the other hand is like V1.0 DBD's brand new part addon, lmao. It can be used to empty a vending machine instantly. Save that item for the busted vending machines or when you're trying to get rid of a vending machine that's just super tricky to empty out with an enemy that keeps lurking around it or what have you.

And that's basically that, hope y'all are looking forward to this new update! I'm super excited to get it out as soon as possible. I was hoping to have it out in July, but considering how my schedule is right now, it's looking very unlikely. I'll just try to get this out whenever I feel like the update is to my liking, wanna make sure this is a satisfying content update to play through, lol.
