Patreon's fee change.. :(
Added 2017-12-08 04:21:28 +0000 UTCI'm sure you guys already know what's going on. Patreon decided it would be a good idea to increase the service fee. Not for creators, I don't mind them charging me for the service me at all! But rather, they are now charging the pledgers, you guys, a higher service fee. Sure, this is going to get me just a tiny bit more money but it isn't fair that you guys have to be charged extra fees when you're already the ones who are giving!
I have voiced my discontent about Patreon's change in service fees and there are many people who also do not like this change.
Even though I try my best to find a job, Patreon-- YOU GUYS --are still the ones that help me financially and I am deeply thankful for your continued support. That's why it feels insulting that patreon just decides out of nowhere to put more burden on you guys! Its not right! Its not fair!
I would rather have stick to the old method where they would charge me rather than take more from you guys!
Because of this, alot of pledgers from other creators are leaving. I hope you guys do not. I depend so much on you guys. You guys are the only ones keeping me from being homeless again. Even though I try so hard to find a job that would accept me despite my medical conditions, I still find myself coming back to you guys because no one would and that I know from the bottom of my heart that you guys will help me out no matter what.
I do not want to impose but I am on my knees, afraid and on the verge of tears, hoping and begging that you guys will not leave me in this rather complicated time.
I am sorry if this comes off as a downer but I feel it right to let you guys know what was going on and what I feel about it.
I will go back to posting more songs now..
