Added 2020-04-04 14:01:00 +0000 UTCHi everyone! I hope you enjoyed this week's double feature and are having an awesome weekend! Can you believe we're about to be on the last season of Star?! In some ways I feel like it went by so fast, and in others I'm like...I've been watching this show for almost 2 years now LOL!
I wanted to do a poll asking what everyone's favorite character is at this point in the show, but then I realized... there are so many options lol! So instead of listing them all, I figured I'd just ask!
For me, Eclipsa has really stolen my heart. I love her character arc so far, and I'm excited to see what season 4 brings for her. Star and Marco, OBVIOUSLY will remain my main squeezes, but Eclipsa has this undeniable charm about her, and I really adore her right now.
What about you guys!? Who is your favorite? Least favorite? Also, any other random post- season 3 thoughts are welcome in the comments lol. I feel lucky to have you all to discuss this amazing show with.

Agreed. Tom is pretty similar to Marco in a few key ways only more so. Like Marco he's more of a down to earth guy now that his temper is more under control and like Marco he can be the voice of reason. But he's a bad fit for Star and a good Janna because he does the whole "ironically detached" thing so well just like Janna. He's too rigid and inflexible to deal with Star's craziness, but Janna is pretty low key herself, so they're a good match there. Another thing I love about the Jantom ship is that, while Star wears her emotions on her sleeve, we see time and time again that Tom is poorly equipped to deal the various crises that pop up in her life, but Janna, always playing things close to the vest emotionally is a perfect fit for a guy that's let's just say "bad" at dealing with tough emotions outside of his own journey.

2020-04-05 23:49:19 +0000 UTCDefinitely agree with you on the whole Tom and Marco thing, where they have gone from enemies to actually close friends that care about each other. Also, like I said in an earlier comment, I really like Eclipsa, she's great and her fight against Meteora is so emotional, the look on Alycia's face said it all. Like I said first time I saw that scene I had tears in my eyes and reacted just like Star "what did you do?". It's such a powerful scene. Maybe it hits me super hard because I lost my mom when I was 19 and thinking what Eclipsa must feel when she's doing it is very conflicting and painful.
