New National Park Girl Sneak Peek: Joshua Tree

Hey everyone, we're back yet again! Sorry for being a little slow on updates this month, but we've been in the planning stages for quite a few things, so that's why things have seemed a little more relaxed than usual. But fear not, because we're about to drop some sweet National Park Girls content upon you. 

You may remember that a while back we reached our first goal of $150. If so, you may also remember that we promised we'd make more Park Girls if we reached said goal. Well, that was a while ago, so I think it's time we live up to our end of the bargain. So allow me to do the honor of giving you, our $10+ Patrons, the first glimpse at the new Park Girl we've been working on -- Joshua Tree! 

Located in the deserts of southern California, Joshua Tree National Park is infamous for its namesake, the Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia). These trees are scattered throughout the park, entire forests of them standing tall against backdrops of bare, rocky hills. This makes it perfect for hikers, rock climbers, and backcountry explorers. And at night, when the sun sets over Palm Desert, the stars light up the sky, silhouetting the trees and diverse wildlife in the glow of the Milky Way. 

Her design has been finalized, but this is just a draft for now. The fully completed version of her will be posted later this month, where we'll have some graphics explaining her personality and just exactly what kind of adventures she gets up to (and maybe even some goodies). 

That's about it for the time being. And just as an added bonus, here are some pictures I took during a recent trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Try and see if you can guess what geographical elements of the park we had Shiyun incorporate into the character design!
